A gentleman named Lamar Hurd hopes to be the first African American “Bachelor”, the Huffington Post reports.
According to the article, show creator Mike Fleiss told Entertainment Weekly that they are always looking to “cast for ethnic diversity” but “for whatever reason, they don’t come forward. I wish they would.”
Hmm… is this the same as the “maybe no Black people showed up to the audition?” argument? I mean, what does looking to cast for ethnic diversity really mean?
